Whistleblower Lawsuits

A Whistleblower or Qui Tam lawsuit allows private citizens to sue on behalf of the government even though the individual has suffered no personal harm, but has information that a company has committed an act of fraud against the United States Government or the government of a particular state.

There are many types of whistleblower cases, the main ones are listed below:

• Health care fraud committed when the government is wrongfully billed by pharmaceutical companies, hospital corporations and clinical laboratories for drugs and services, often through Medicare and Medicaid.

• Computer supplier fraud.
• Underpayment of royalties.
• Construction cases.
