Citifinancial Litigation

These cases arise from the processing of loan payments on residential properties by a division of CitiGroup.  A national class action is sought to be certified on behalf of borrowers with respect to the manner in which loan payments are being allocated to various charges each month.  The claims are for overcharges for interest and violations of the loan agreement by charging fees not provided in the loan documents.  The case is pending in the Federal District Court in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
