CPAP Litigation

The firm is engaged in representing claimants against Philips North America, LLC, Philips RS North America, LLC and Koninklijke Philips N.V., for loss of value of their CPAP or Bi-PAP machine and possible personal injury from using those breathing machines.  These breathing machines are important to individuals who suffer from numerous health conditions and/or symptoms, including but not limited to nasal inflammation, sore throat, headaches, dizziness (syncope), airway inflammation/irritation, hypersensitivity, ear infections/inflammation, persistent cough, shortness of breath, and/or sinus infections.  A CPAP or Bi-PAP machine facilitates the user’s breathing during sleeping.  The problem is that the foam insulation in the unit degrades or breaks down into small particulate matter, which is pushed by air pressure into the lungs.  These machines have been recalled by Philips and there is a recall and replacement program.  The firm is representing claimants in Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina.
